Green on Yoda.

I've had generally two days off work, so when I received Yoda's Moly yesterday, I had an idea in my head festering. I hope you like it, I'll send it off tomorrow to Marina.

Never say never

I felt that we are lacking some action in our rainbow, so I decided to start with Gustav's book. I haven't had any specific idea to develop. I took one of the photos that I made this week in the streets of Tel-Aviv with lot of graffiti and it was my inspiration. I wanted to take it to a little bit more abstract direction, but didn't succeed. "Never say never" was real caption on one of the walls.
Marty, now you won't be bookless!

Finished!

My bear is complete.
When I was a little girl in Istanbul, I used to love seeing the dancing bears. Then I became aware that the bears were unhappy and often abused. It was a very sad realisation, and I had dreamt of rescuing them.

I'm scared to post mine...

So, after seeing Samantha's most recent post, I freaked because my frogs look just completely crazy and infantile next to it, but I guess I can't be paranoid.

oh look! A monkey!
I believe my Moleskine has a theme : The Beastiare (The Beasts : animals)

My Tortured Moly

I had a nice ink drawing of an anatomical heart that I messed up. Then I decided to cover it up with a tonne of solid gouache. It didn't look good, so I wiped it off with a wet sponge.

I took a weekend break from my maddening moly and saw the most beautiful movie, The Fall. If any of you haven't seen it, you should— I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Anyhow, I remembered something from my childhood that I wanted to draw, and now my warped and wrinkly moly has a purpose. This is the first "layer", if you will. I thought I'd share the process of this entry that began so frustratingly. Hopefully it'll all work out in the end.
